Nakekelwe Hair was officially founded in April 2019. We aim to show women that black hair care has a new narrative - beautiful and simple to maintain. Hair is a part of our identity, it is a language of love, self care and community.
Our products aim to encourage creativity with your hair as well as care for your protective styles.

Hi darling, my name is Malwande and I am the founder of Nakekelwe Hair.
I am passionate about visual arts (with a Fine Art degree) as well as creativity. Hair is a huge part of creativity. My journey with natural hair began in 2017 which has taught me a lot. This is knowledge that I use with Nakekelwe Hair. I seek to empower, share knowledge, create opportunities and continue to grow.
